ONE OF a kind (OOAK) collectible hand-painted stone.
NIGHT TIME is my favourite time of day, mostly because it gets nice and quiet and a magical kind of peace descends upon the world. Not if you live in a big city, like I used to; but here in the mountains where I live now, Man goes inside and Nature and all of Her little and big animals come out to play.
RIGHT NOW I’m a little bit obsessed with fish, and this pebble depicts another gold fish in a forest-side lake swimming happily beneath the night sky gazing up at the sliver of creamy crescent moon and the shiny twinkling stars above.
👆🏻 I HOPE that you will find as much pleasure from gazing into my stones as I do painting them.
DESCRIPTION:
FOREST SCAPE scenery depicting three towering pines bedecked with white and red berries set against a lush green backdrop and next to orange and red flowers. Above the night sky frames the scene, with a creamy crescent moon and a mixture of gold and white stars, so tiny I almost went blind painting them. Below, beneath a thin blanket of snow, a goldfish swims on a quiet lake, enjoying his/her underwater garden and sending white and gold love hearts up to the sky.
INSPIRED BY: childhood musing, bedtime stories, the South of France, summer holidays, pine trees and a preoccupation with painting fish.
DIMENSIONS:
Pebble: 6 x 4cm; 2.4 x 1.6in
MATERIALS:
Posca Paint Pens
Baker Ross Multi-Purpose Acrylic Craft Varnish
PLEASE NOTE: this is not a toy, it is delicate, it is meant for ornamental purposes only. If you do happen to drop or accidentally scrape or chip it, you may revarnish it with a thin layer of clear gloss varnish, making sure to allow significant time for it to properly dry. If you get it covered in dirt, grime or drool, you may gently wipe or rinse it. Deeper damage may require touching up the image with paint pens and then revarnishing. Rest assured, most minor incidents can be rescued, but the responsibility lies with you.
